#dadsanddaughters

In Bengali culture, the brother(s) of your father (chachu) are often called abbu, or "father" as well. This is because uncles are seen as an integral part of the life of a niece/nephew. Uncles are to be respected as another parent because they will always care for you just the same. While I wanted to acknowledge my own dad, (Bapi) for the #dadsanddaughters campaign, it would be VERY unfair to not include my 4 chachus, who have loved me as if I were their own daughter. Each and every one of you have loved me, no matter what. You guys have inspired me to become the best girl I can be and to work hard for my dreams. Thank you for teaching me that I can always improve. I can never repay any of you for what you have given me in this life.
All four of my Uncles, my parents, and I back in the summer of 2010!!!
